Art as Therapy
Forsaken was created as an outlet for me to express negative thoughts surrounding the end of a significant relationship at the end of 2021.
The painting acts as a time capsule of my life during this time, containing many references to music and media I was consuming at the time.
An Eight Month Long Labor of Love
Measuring at 14 x 10” the painting took many seasons for me to complete. Beginning in summer of 2022 and coming to an end in the spring of 2023.
